Dreamsongs Press was founded in 2003 as an independent literary and scientific press dedicated to publishing excellent poetry, promoting good writing by scientists, and introducing poets and scientists to each other.

Dreamsongs Press publishes books in pairs: a collection of poetry and a book by a scientist. The book by the scientist can be scientific, or it can be a work of literature. Each writer advises the other during revision, and royalties for the two books are pooled with the hope that this will, in effect, result in support for the poets.

Dreamsongs Press produces fine quality books with equal attention paid to subject matter, fine writing, and book design. The editorial staff and advisory group include well-respected scientists, poets, and designers who believe there is much more in common than different between scientists and artists and how they work.
